Communications/Social Media Intern

The Center for the Young Child (CYC) at OCALI is dedicated to giving children with disabilities the best possible start in life because early experiences impact lifelong outcomes.

We are looking for a communications/social media intern to fulfill the following duties:

  • Assist with ongoing communications and management of project deadlines.
  • Assist with development of written and online materials and campaigns, while adhering to OCALI brand guidelines and accessibility standards.
  • Participate in community and civic groups/activities related to Center for the Young Child work.
  • Assist with social media management and content development, including working with MarCom team on social media planning and calendars.
  • Prepare research reports.
  • Assist with administrative and office management activities related to communications and public relations, as needed.
  • Must be proactive and able to work independently, as some projects can be completed remotely.
  • Work schedule is flexible. 15-30 hours per week, $15-20 per hour, commensurate with experience.
