Research shows that comprehensive and thorough transition planning for students with disabilities leads to better post-school employment, education, and independent living outcomes. As part of the Ohio Department of Education's focus on secondary transition for the State Systemic Improvement Plan, this episode explores secondary transition planning practices and insights, as well as resources to support secondary transition planning practices. Join representatives from the Ohio Department of Education, OCALI's Lifespan Transitions Center, and two Ohio schools as they share more about this focus and the plan to improve secondary transition planning for students in Ohio.
