Student Development and Program Structure
It is recommended that you complete the starter sessions and a few evidence based practices sessions before engaging in the sessions on planning processes.
These two sessions, focus on the use of evidence based practices in planning. One session reviews the use of evidence based practices for individualize youth development. The other session reflects on the use of evidence based practices and predictors as a guide for program structure for transition youth.
- Session Seven: Plan for Teaching Skills using Evidence Based Practices (The Planning Process)
- In this session the user learns how to incorporate one or more evidence based practices in a comprehensive instructional plan for a student to teach a targeted skill to address student needs. This session can be viewed and plans developed after learning about several of the evidence based practices.
- Session Twelve: Evidence Based Predictors of Post School Success
- This session highlights evidence based predictors of post school success, many of which are connected to the evidence based practices highlighted in other sessions. The predictors guide the user to focus broadly on the structures of transition programs.
