Virtual Reality Application Services
This Request for Information seeks details from qualified companies interested in providing virtual reality (VR) application hosting, maintenance, and development services.
OCALI, a project of the Educational Service Center of Central Ohio (ESCCO), is a recognized global leader in creating and connecting resources and relationships to ensure that people with disabilities have the opportunity to live their best lives for their whole lives. As a trusted source, OCALI enhances, develops, and promotes high-quality programs and services to effectively equip anyone who cares for, supports, educates, employs, or works with individuals with disabilities across the lifespan.
OCALI is seeking services to support an existing immersive and interactive virtual reality educational and training application, specifically,
- Deployment to a public store option (Meta application) or alternate hosting platform
- Application updates for technology compatibility
- Ongoing maintenance
- Customer access to application through dedicated website
- Support for client inquiries, troubleshooting, and data analytics

- Do you assist with submitting and launching the VR application to app stores or public platforms? What is your process?
- What is your VR application hosting process and infrastructure? What is your process to securely transfer application files to your hosting environment?
- How do you handle updates to the VR application?
- What is your process for monitoring and addressing compatibility issues related to hardware, OS, or VR platform updates?
- What is your process for handling technical support and troubleshooting requests?
- How do you update clients on the VR application's progress or changes?
- How do you handle the intellectual property of an application?
- What is your pricing model for hosting and/or maintaining the VR application?
