The materials within the Curriculum Hub are to be used in addition to ODEW’s approved HQIM in English language arts and mathematics which provide structured and comprehensive foundational skills instruction for all students.
Morning Meeting
Grades K-2
Explore year-long morning meeting routines that build calendar, weather, counting, money, schedule, and group participation skills. This unit provides repeatable daily lessons, supports, and progress-monitoring tools.
Ohio and the 50 States: Goods and Services
Grades 3-5
Travel across the United States as students explore each state’s goods, services, and natural resources. Begin in Ohio, discovering the history, facts, and features that make it the Heart of It All.
Rocks and Minerals Unit
Grades 6-8
Explore a multi-week unit on Earth’s layers, rocks, and minerals with standards, tiered activity plans, assessments, supports, and interactive materials designed to provide accessible entry points for all learners.
