Properties of Rocks and Materials
In this week’s lessons students work together to collect and sort rocks by their characteristics (texture, color, etc.) Did you know that properties of rocks can help us to identify them? Join students as they create a lab book of the rocks and their properties as they begin to learn about sedimentary, metamorphic, and igneous rocks and where to find them.
