NEW: Early Transition Planning Web Page
OCALI and the Ohio Employment First Taskforce completed an Early Planning Pilot last school year with several districts exploring ways to help elementary school educators and families begin early transition planning. The educators and caregivers found simple ways to begin early transition planning conversations and ways for caregivers to connect with other families and agency for support. Take a look at the Early Transition Planning resources to find simple tools to begin talking about adult life visions and outcomes for students and children. These tools helped families think about different aspects of adulthood they hadn't considered before and allowed education teams to find ways to prepare students for those adult life visions.
